The 2002-2003 financial year will be recorded as the one in which Bermagui (and far south coast) real estate values were "repositioned" against the Australia wide market. One of our reception staff summed it up well during the summer when she remarked, "it looks like we’ve really been discovered this year"
Prices have reflected this discovery with solid increases kicking in between spring 2002 and autumn 2003.
The market remains firm and active as we settle into the winter months. The countryside as always looks stunning at this time of year, and unless it’s a bracing southwest wind, then it’s likely to be sunny and still.
